Welcome to the Field of Treasure!  We exist to provide a positive place for Coaches and Players to practice and play games.  We BELIEVE in our community and want to share God's love in any way we can.

OUR STORY

Many years ago, our church bought property across the street, tore down the houses, and dreamed about what they might do on the property.  Those dreams because of many circumstances never came to fruition.   Our Pastor began to pray every time he saw the field, that God would show him the vision for this land.  For many years He didn’t know what that was but believed God would give it when He was ready.  After a couple of years of coaching in the town’s recreational soccer league, he was amazed at all the parents, grandparents, and children that were involved.  The big issue in the community was that there were very limited and safe places for coaches to practice with their teams. You’ve probably seen the movie “Field of Dreams” where Kevin Costner hears a voice saying, “If you build it, they will come”.  That is literally what happened to our Pastor. What God was saying was to build a place where all those coaches, players, parent’s and grandparents could come.  A safe place where We, the church, could also go out to them.  We didn’t know how it was going to happen, but God knew.  After much praying and much talking, God provided.  We found some donors who gave with the same passion that God had given me for the project.  Because of those gifts, we were able to start our own “Field of Treasure”. Today, that field now is excavated and has a beautiful ten-foot vinyl fence around it for protection.  There is still much to do on that piece of property, but we are continuing to trust God in the process.  We want to be a church that is not just a place “inside” but a place that goes outside to shine the light of Jesus Christ.  If you want to hear more about our vision for Phases 2 & 3, please contact Pastor Craig.  If you would like to donate toward this vision,  “CLICK HERE” and you will be redirected to Give”.
